Tesla does it with a rectangle.....Mini does it with a circle. Same effect.

This car proves, once again, that retro-styling sells...and that you don't want to mess with success. Bitkahuna, though, has a point that the centralization of the dash is a bit overdone (I agree, to some extent).....although the center-speedometer/gauges has been a standard Mini theme since its inception in 1959.

That screen reminds me of the old dresser/vanity my mom used to have decades (and decades) ago.

Why the hell are they taking the worst of the Tesla designs and copying it? That solid glass roof better be open-able, and if it doesn't have a shade like the Tesla, Mach-E and Polestar, I'm going to scream.

The Lucid Air doesn't even have a sunshade.
I believe the VW ID4 has a retractable sunshade.

The lack of sun shade has never impacted my daily driving.

Depends on when you drive and where the sun is overhead. Lots of people commute in the mornings and evenings when the sun is off to the sides.

For me, I have the pano roof, and leave the shade open 99% of the time, but when I do have to drive with the sun directly overhead, it helps a LOT to have the shades drawn.

I like the current Mini interior design with all the retro toggle switches. Too bad...

I agree in principle, but one problem with the toggle-switches is that they all look pretty much alike.

On theme still and looks nice IMO. Cool car!
