If you create road tolls for ICE cars entering NYC and you exclude EVs, you basically banned ICE from the city. HOV lanes already magically allow EVS with just one driver in my town. And you can actually pay to use it as a single driver with a gas motor if you really want

It already costs like $20 to drive into Manhattan, lol.
So that's almost 5 grand a year assuming someone drives to work 5 days a week.
Displacement taxes etc I strongly disagree with, this isn't Europe.

It was my personal opinion - get rid of personal cars. I didn't suggest that you or anyone be forced to stop using a personal car.

People that are not from NYC think its just Wall Street or Times Square. There are residential neighborhoods with schools and families in Manhattan. Please stop talking nonsense.

I am in the real estate business, and your perception of this is colored by where you live. Nationally, 80% of homes and condos have garages or carports.
Plenty of other major cities in the world that limit strongly personal cars within their downtown areas. If I lived in Manhattan, I wouldn't have a car. No reason to. I would also never drive into Manhattan. No reason to.

Go try to go from 10th Ave and 80s to downtown - there are limited options. Try to do same from Upper east side. There are huge communities of ppl and families that live on Upper East Side and West Side around Central Park. You just jump on FDR or West Side highway- you are not driving through middle of Manhattan congested streets lol. Its not that bad most of the time except for rush our.

All new cars look computer mice nowadays. It partly has to do with safety requirements - rounded forms, high belt lines, but also if you ever take any course in 3D modeling, pretty much the first thing they teach you to model is... a basic computer mouse. There are hordes of "designers" with 3d modeling skills but with no talent or imagination.

Lexus, for a while, actually used computer-mouse-like devices on the console to adjust the video-screens, but is now dropping them because of many complaints.

GS is dead... yes, that looks like LS and was removed by Lexus later, shown off to press under closed doors. There are some tidbits about next gen LS from Lexus dealer council already. That other vehicle looks like next gen ES. Also a next gen CT was shown there as well as RX.
Silver vehicles were BEV only, but all Lexus ones were concepts except for RZ. Toyota actually had 3 production ready looking vehicles (for Europe probably) + BZ4X.
