Silverado EV: Avalanche and Bolt got busy….

I had a hand in the research and development of this, so now that the cat is out of the bag I can tell you, to expect it to beat Cybertruck's range and towing capacities, but especially its range when towing. It will blow the 150 mile heavy tow range of the F150 Lighting (which was tested at max capacity 12,200lbs) away. GM has some kind of new battery tech they are being very tight lipped on, and supposedly their new EV trucks are going to at least double the range of the CT, while also doubling the towing range @ max load. If that turns out to be true, it will be a game changer in the BEV truck world

For this exact reason, I've been debating whether it'd be worth it to add some kind of orange flag to a taller antenna on the back of my S2000. I'm always very concerned about getting crushed by big trucks that may not see me at a stoplight.

Considering it looks more Avalanche inspired than Silverado... I think it actually looks pretty good. I was never a fan of the Avalanche. Always thought it was a goofy looking truck. Lots of interesting features in this Silverado EV as well. I really like how the back seats fold flat to expand the bed space. That's pretty cool.
