I happily would, lol. My motorcycle has the speedometer and turn signal indicators - its perfect, and I don't want any other nonsense.

This is what interior should look like, none of these toxic screens.

On a side note, wish I could get my hands on a brand new S2000, looks so amazing in this picture. Just pure RWD sport cars with the top down

Yep, it is absolutely amazing. And BMWs used to be like this, even the 7 series used to be a driver oriented car. I' almost hoping for Russia or China to do an EMP strike on us that takes out all the electronics, so we can go back to carburetors and enjoying life again.

Until a vehicle mounted system can beat my phone I have no interest. It's far easier and faster for me to use my phone for anything as it stands

The issue is convenience. Having maps and such displayed on the screen is preferable than having to use them on the phone

i do think watching that huge screen inside while going down the road would likely give me motion sickness though.
That was one of my childhood car dreams. My dad had color changing paint, and I thought up an idea for a car made out of tv screens you could change to whatever color you wanted.

I don't know, it takes more effort/longer to do and unless it's a HUD car that displays in the area in front accurately as to where I need to go I usually just glance down and memorize street name and then wait for it to show up.

That's just what I like to do though and it's only in my case that I have no desire for a car mounted screen. I would change my mind if they were as effective as a phone, but I can move my phone directly to eye level and use it then set it down. The screen requires me to look away from the road to use.
