I'm scratching my head at this comment.
I'll state my bias right up front: I just bought one of these. But I didn't like its looks it because i bought it; I bought it because I liked it. To be specific, these look so similar to the $100,000 LS500 that I had to learn how to spot the difference. If anything, to my eyes they look more ordinary in the inside than on the outside. I sincerely don't know what this poster is talking about.

ES's touch sensitive screen is so smooth and slick compared to the mechanical push buttons on my GS.
Aging ES sales doing well with 45k+ units last year.
Aging 5 Series doing well considering its price with 24k+ units last year.
Aging E Class also doing well considering its price at 20,000+ units.
Only all new G80 is disappointing with only 6k+ units in its first full year, and the first full year normally registers the highest sales figures.

Saw a ES300h yesterday. Sadly, in a sea of all crossovers nowadays, the ES sedan kinda looks outdated. I’m wondering if eventually we will see the ES discontinued. I read Toyota is moving production back to Japan.
