10 Least Satisfying Cars, According to Consumer Reports

CR analyzed data from our latest member survey to measure the current state of vehicle owner satisfaction. The owner satisfaction score—based on whether owners say they would definitely buy the same car again if given the choice—measures whether a car has lived up to expectations.
Combined with CR’s ratings on testing and reliability, our owner satisfaction ratings give car buyers valuable guidance when they’re shopping for a vehicle. (Detailed information is available on our car model pages.)
Based on that analysis, the following models are the least satisfying. They’re presented in rank order, counting down to the least satisfying.

I've sampled most of them on the road, and, IMO, the EcoSport is probably the most unpleasant one to drive, with the Renegade just behind.
As I understand it, the EcoSport was never designed or intended for the American market. It is just too much of a toy vehicle.

Nothing wrong with it if you just want basic transportation, but it is not particularly pleasant to drive.....neither, IMO, is its Hyundai Elantra brother, which is not surprising since they share a common platform and many components.

I have a feeling that most people's definition for 'basic transport' has evolved to include things that these cars lack.

I just liked the design so much,. Especially the interior. Looks so easy to live with. I do know someone who has a new Forte, she had to get a warranty item done two days after delivery because the rear window defroster did not work correctly. She does like the car.

I have to agree to an extent. I sampled a Q50 some years ago, and I did not think it that poor a design at all, although I did not trust its Active-Steer-By-Wire option (I sampled a conventional-steer-version), and still don't today.

No offense, but over the years it has continued to surprise me at your willingness to put your trust in the backup systems on airplanes, but not in the backup system on the steering of a Q50.
