MY brother's former best friend had one back in the 1970s. Fun to drive, and in some ways better-looking and better-done than other British sports cars of the period, but unreliable and trouble-prone, especially from the Lucas electronics.
This MGBGT is an ******** with the oversize tires and side exhaust, probably stuffed a v-8 in it. For my money, Triumph TR4 and TR6's were much better

These looked the best 1995ish with the subtle updates like the vastly better rims, but before the stupid grille was added. Lexus SC was a stunning design.
