Oh I LOVVVVVE these, thanks for this. Haven't seen anything like it in years. Once the car cuts off their faces change real quick...

Edit: That gen Escalade is a cinch to steal. The ignition isn't particularly strong and the keys aren't either. No Passkey, immobilizer, or anything like it.

Also, go to 3:30...this is my thing about GM transmissions at least the older ones. I really wish my truck had that 6L V8, but it does have that same responsive transmission just not as beefy. As you can see, 2-1 downshifts GMs don't tend to waste, they will eek out first gear to the max unlike other car brands I have experienced . My old GMC is no different. My LX should downshift 2-1 past 30MPH but it doesn't, plenty of first gear left. My GMC is slow but the transmission programming makes it feel peppy.

Hate to toot my own horn but I do love the looks of my rig. IMO the '13-'15 were the best looking of the 570s. Decently aggressive but restrained, classy. Great rims.

This E46 M3 would put a smile on my face every time I drove it. With a manual though. Any real drivers car, in my view, has to be a manual. Although being in an area where it pours 9 months out of the year, might be best to keep it for summer.

My Ex-Flight-Instructor had a brand-new red 1994 Toyota MR2 Turbo (I was with him the night he bought it). Tell me it doesn't look like a Poor Mans's Ferrari.

When I suggested that visual-comparison a number of years ago, a couple of posters here (I won't say whom) essentially told me I was full of it. Thank You......You just helped prove what I said was true.

It most definitely does, lol. And I don't know if there were bodykits for the MR2, but there were Ferrari body kits for the Pontiac Fiero, which is another rear engined two seater, like the MR2.

Quick google search shows a bunch of Ferrari replica kits for the MR2.

Yeah....I did an MM Retro-Write-Up on the Fiero some time ago. A superb idea and conception.....but unbelievably bad quality-control; some of the worst I saw in my lifetime outside of 70s-vintage Chrysler products and the disastrous Yugo GV. I didn't know there were body-kits for an imitation-Ferrari, though....Thanks for the news.

I just put in an order for a 2022 in a similar reddish color. Escalades have always commanded presence.

Infrared Tintcoat? That is a $1225 option on some Escalade trims.

You got that right. Especially in that classic Cadillac dark red.
