Default Arnold Schwarzeneggar involved in four-vehicle pileup in Los Angeles.

Arnold was involved in a four-car accident on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles. Fortunately, only one driver had significant injuries, and was taken to a hospital. He was uninjured (even at his age, it would probably take a pretty good impact to injure his well-built muscular body)....and he stayed at the scene, co-operating with the investigation.

His GMC is just fine vs a Prius.

But looks like he got rear ended by the Porsche from the sudden stop.

For a guy that likes to preach about climate change he sure does drive a gas guzzling pig. Hope everyone is okay I did read the person in the Prius was injured. Can't judge fault from photos.

Supposedly, the next-generation of Hummers (which he said he approved of) will be all electric.

Yes, she had a head-injury and was taken to a hospital.

In general, I have not been impressed with the solidity of the last couple of generations of Prius (at least the ones since the 2Gen)....their sheet metal and hardware seems like cardboard. Not very much to protect the occupants. But, of course, that is a very large and heavy vehicle that hit it....all else equal, in a crash, the dinosaur usually wins and the mouse loses.

The Prius has very good crash test scores from IIHS. Going back to the 2012 model year Prius received their Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+. Probably a benefit.for an encounter with that big GMC.

Couldn't have happened to a "better" person. Where is his mask?

The problem here is crash incompatibility. Significant height differences between the Prius and the GMC crash structure. So the Prius never got to use its crumble zones effectively, causing more injury than needed.

Doesn't look like anyone is wearing their face diaper. For shame.

Mass is mass. A 500lb difference vastly changes the outcome in favor of the heavier car.

Yes plus crash structure incompatibility = unnecessary outcome for the driver of the smaller car.

Some years of Prius had very poor crash test results the driver space severely compromised.

it’s not “supposedly”. Go to the Hummer page on the GMC website - reservations are available now.

LeX2K, Och, exit this thread. No debate or politics on our forum, you both know better.
