Lexus has cranked out some truly cool colors over the years.

I had an original IS300 painted the same shade as the Pearl Yellow in the article......only it was called Solar Yellow back then.

Twilight Amethyst Pearl (called Midnight Cherry in Canada)
And I much prefer Noble Spinel Mica over Matador Red(too much orange hue) for a Lexus sedan, I like the Matador Red paint itself though, but more suitable for a coupe or small sedan like the IS.

i still love glacier frost mica on the earlier IS and GS. off white with a blue pearl! i'm probably only a handful that does, since lexus discontinued the color rather quickly.

i usually don't like red cars but matador red is very nice in person (as with all colors really).

Lots of great colors over the years... but I'd buy Matador Red Mica again in a heartbeat. Just timeless.

We had a Matador Red ESh when the Infrared debut on the RC and LC's.
Made the ES color look like dried blood when parked alongside!

Yep....the best Lexus color in my opinion. Had four different looks to it, depending on the sun. Here is my 2008 one week before someone ran a red light and destroyed it.

arctic blast satin gets my vote. exclusive to the fuji edition. durable enough for car washes although mine will only be hand washed by me with soft water

Along with Glacier Frost, Alabaster was very interesting. Intensa Blue was cool before USB came along.
A new favorite, Grecian Blue.

This is a good list. I really like Garnet Pearl, Royal Sapphire Pearl, Boroque Metallic, and Platinum Silver Metallic from the 90’s SC400/SC300/Soarer. Solar Yellow from the IS300/RC/LC looks really nice too.

Lexus always had a really nice color selection. Infrared and the different blues are my favorites of the current lineup.

USB 2.0 is my favorite and the best looking out of any manufacturer although remember that cherry metallic paint on the 3gen gs450h that was a nice color too

Infrared and structural blue get my vote. Lexus seriously has some of the best paint quality out of all the luxury brands.

Stargazer for me on my RX here. I have Caviar on my GS and don't like the graphite grey tone to it, any grey tone is hideous to me.
