That giant grille is ruined forever but as with the horrible spindle grille,
LOL. Spindle is really hit and miss. Lexus didn't do it well on early models. The GS was pretty bad, every model IMO...some call it the predator. . IS was not great when it debuted. New LX600 looks great in person. So does the IS. Best version yet was is the new NX...but first gen NX was bad.
If there one thing I could suggest one fun thing for ClubLexus....redo this emoji with a spindle grin..
For me if I had to get a vehicle with the spindle I'd get a 2013-2015 LS. That was like half-way there so it's not totally bad. The LX with the full spindle is awful and I can't imagine how anyone would love looking at that.
Awful....like really really awful.. I do like the two-tone paint though,
If the two-tone is available in the U.S. it will most likely be one of BMW's extra cost Individual Colors. Probably run well over $5k. It might just be for other markets though.
The front has very futuristic looking headlights (though not what I'd call pretty) on top but then 1980s looking ones below it, huge fail on the front at least.
You're focusing on just the grille. EVERY car has a huge grille today. Camrys have huge grills. Hyundais have huge grilles, Hondas have huge grilles. So just saying that a car has a huge grille and that makes it "flashy" doesn't really make sense today.
Objectively, big grilles are very flashy. Just because cheaper cars have them doesn't make them any less flashy. They're like the tailfins of the 50s, even now we still consider those to be flashy despite them being on the most pedestrian mainstream Chevy back then.
The Quattroporte grille is tiny relative to any flagship mentioned in this thread. It's the same size as the Porsche "grille" if you can even call it that. The S-Class and A8 are far more glitzy and in-your-face.
to me looks so dated and proportions are just not elegant to me. don't like the front lights or grille either. so uh, just no for me.
It's a four-door Ferrari penned by Pininfarina with a Maserati badge slapped on it. You may not like it, but it is considered a classic design for good reason.

Thats because its such an old design. Look at the grille on Maserati's newest design:
A Maserati is the definition of flashy and in your face, thats Quattroporte design is just from 2012. Its 10 years old. It was designed to compete not even with the W222 but the W221 and the LS460...
If they do redo the Quattroporte, it will have a HUGE grille.
Well I shouldn't say cup of tea. I used to be pretty knowledgeable when it came to various tech features in things like computers, phones, etc. I just got tired of it all so now I go out of my way to avoid most of it, except for my computer. Lol
