And surprise surprise, the Chinese market loves huge ugly overbites on their flagship sedans too.

They like a visually balanced look. Classic RWD cars look stubby in the front and overweight in the back.

I think they just prefer the look of FWD cars, since the association of RWD = luxury doesn't exist in China. Hence why they still consider Buick a prestige brand and why the VW Phaeton is still sold there.

no surprise that everyone is chasing chinese money now... the u.s. is definitely a less influential market than in the past.

From this angle…the front overhang looks like it looms large.

Looking at all these modern cars, all I can say is thank God I'm getting old, lol. Absolutely tacky, tasteless designs.

I wouldn't go that far, but in the case of the 7 Series there's clearly more demand in China than the U.S. Long wheelbase chauffeuring sedans are all the rage with wealthy Chinese individuals, whereas most people in the U.S. would rather buy an SUV they drive themselves.

It's not even close lol. The BMW is bucktooth joke compared to the G90, which has true RWD proportions- short nose and long butt like the Rolls.

In fact the G90's whole greenhouse looks more like the Rolls than BMW's.

Just look at those wheels on both cars, lol, especially the Kia. Complete clusterpluck, as is the rest of the car.

I honestly don't know what they were thinking with those wheels.

The rest of the design humiliates every other flagship sedan in this segment, and it's not even close lol.

Maybe only because other flagships are also ugly, made to appeal to the Chinese market. Honestly, all these tacky designs are making the LS500 age really well, aside for its grille of course.

BMW looks the best. More equal front overhand to rear. Front that angle the Rolls looks alright. The G90 has way too much messed up stuff going on in the rear 1/3. The rear overhang of the G90 is 2X the length of the front…strange

I like the LS500 design, but it's far busier from most angles than the other flagships. It's easily the most ostentatious flagship out right now.

It also has a pretty long front overhang, but that's kind of the norm with all modern Lexus vehicles. At least there's no overbite...

I think those wheels are making the LS500 look bad. Looks much better and more upscale with these.

I think I like the silver. But I did see a LS500 the other day, beautiful car. And it was indeed black

Yeah, that CGI render of the G90 gets pretty funky from the back. It looks more natural in photos and video. Love them or hate them, the overhangs are those of a true RWD sedan.
