Well, if moderators can delete this thread, or combine posts with main thread.

That red Maybach-like 7 Series looks nice!

Also this.
I did notice BM sharing ICEV platforms to get EV's onto the market quickly, so there was no BMW codename for a dedicated EV platform like Benz' EVA platform.
So the iX shares the ICEV OKL RWD-based platform with the X5 too?

it's a compassionate thing, it will be over quickly.

built in search doesn't do well with just 2 characters.

No offense to CL, but the Search-functions in this forum are not the world's best.

S Class is actually pretty conservative when it comes to bling. No cut glass or fake diamond seat control buttons, but I've also mentioned that the ostentatiousness of the S Class does bother me. I like really high quality stuff, but flashy stuff doesn't appeal to me.

OK MM. I have to say, I’m not seeing the resemblance. That Torino is 2 doors

Yeah, I see no resemblance, other than them both being cars. None of the lines or shape are even remotely the same.

Yes, I know one cannot directly compare 2 and 4 doors (coupe and sedan)....although there were also plenty of 4-door Torino sedans. That wasn't the point. I was (mostly) comparing the grilles on the Torino and i7. If you still don't see any resemblance, then, well...........I respect your views.

Ah. The grilles, I can now see what you mean.

i'm with ya there. i like the LC in that way too, high quality, but not showy. drop dead sexy shape though.

but yes, an s-class is VERY conservative compared to something like a bentley. and i definitely don't like the kiriko glass deal on that 23K LS package.

These days the S-class is the subtle one......

The only subtle flagship sedan currently sold is the Quattroporte, and I don't think it even counts since it's ten years old.

Yeah the LC is just my tastes for aesthetic! The LS always was too.

Pretty funny isn't it?

I wouldn't call that subtle, its just from another era today.

I would say the A8/S8 is subtle. I also think the W223 S Class is subtle

Must be... nice to be able to say so. A family I know has two of these but their other car costs more than the two combined. Lol

Interesting...Buick dropping portholes, and Maserati and Infiniti adopting them.
