Worst one I ever saw was a $900 condo policy when that condo should have been $350 or so.
Ours is inline with others for the area, I just told them I would go with Eire instead if they didn't come within 5% for the same coverage. Though to be honest I don't trust any of them since they will always try their best to get out of it....

Given the last several posts, is this tread just for auto insurance, or can we discuss home and condo-policies as well?

Good to hear, I moved my dad and all his stuff over to them after some research. Nice to know they have your endorsement considering all the houses you deal with/your sphere of specialty, we are on USAA since well.......they have great service and are giving good rates on everything we asked for and my wife was using them before we were fully together.

We have saved thousands of dollars since switching all of our coverage (house, cars, and umbrella) from Nationwide (after 48 years) to Erie in 2019 and getting the same product. Unfortunately, Erie is available in only about 12 states.

shop around every year or two, you dont get rewarded for your loyalty. Use policy genius to hunt for auto and car insurance

That's exactly who I had my dad stitch from, I was cautious at first due to the gulf in price but everything I looked into seemed A okay.

The driver who rear ended my Lexus a couple years ago had Erie, and they were great to work with, paid me a diminished value claim with no argument (on a lease!)...

PEMCO is based out of Seattle. I don't blame some of you for not knowing them. My parents had PEMCO for 21 years until they got a better rate with State Farm. Then Progressive came into the picture and they were great the first several years but I don't know. Seems pretty expensive for two older vehicles.

The Explorer doesn't have full coverage and I'm financing the ES. Some of us don't make as much money as you Steve! Lol

I have 100/300/100. I don't live in a heavily populated area. I'm out in the middle of nowhere and I drive on dead highways. There are also no nice vehicles around. Just a lot of GM and Ford, some Toyota. I'm one of the VERY few Lexus. The others are certainly older than my car. I can tell because of that grille.

LOL, I realize that.

That is expensive, but it’s really hard to compare rates between people and places…

If you have experience with that company then go for it.

I didn't realize PEMCO wasn't well known and wasn't nationwide. It's very big and reputable here. I would have zero issues in going with them.

Good god, I just received my new bill for my Tesla and my insurance jumped up about $350 a year so now instead of paying $1,600 a year, I'm now paying almost $2,000 a year. My X7 is only $1,100 a year. Time to start shopping for insurance to see if I am getting played.

You have one of the fastest cars ever made that costs about $150k. I think its understandable.

I get that all three of my cars are valued over $100k right now and that they are all high hp cars, I was just shocked a little that my rate on my Tesla went up instead of down which over time it seems like they usually decrease. Regardless I got a quote on all three cars through USAA and both the GTR and X7 were double what I am paying now and the Tesla was about $200 more a year. Looks like State Farm's pricing isn't as bad as I thought.

Probably just due to inflation. I remember the brouhaha about Tesla insurance costs a couple years ago. Some were insisting that the insurance is double most cars and it just wasn't true. Tesla is about the same as any other car in its segment. I pay $50 more per year for my Model 3 Performance vs. my old IS350 F-sport and I have double the horsepower

Did you get a GEICO quote? They are laughably bad where I live on costs...they were literally double what the other companies quoted for insurance.
