Anyone planning to buy a V8 before its too late?!

Pole Position
Current 2022 GX460, most likely the most boring V8 vehicle here. Got it for the V8, a slow V8 at that, but that just means I get to rev it out more and for longer. Mid life crisis car, either IS500 or used LC500, whichever I can afford in a few yrs. Perhaps even a RWD LS460 to get the full power.

Ye my thinking is order the Mach 1 to get a cool V8 car and then get rid of it if my C8 Z06 allocation comes through or something else like the new AMG-GT comes up.
What other V8 coupes will there be you think?
New Mustang, AMG GT, thats pretty much it i think.
Hellcat is going away, 8series is also I think not getting a replacement, Porsche is going all EV except for 911.
LC500 has at most 1-2yrs left.
New BMW V8s will be hybrid in the M cars.
I think the end is here.

Yeah, lots of folks have them. There haven't been so many new ones rolling in lately, but the beginning of the year saw lots of new owners.

They are easy to underestimate, you end up going 90 where you would normally go 40 but they are extremely good handling. They are somewhat odd driving position wise like I mentioned and the pedal box is strange and everything had a lot of weight to it, you love it or you hate it.....the engine is the star of the show though, the NA high rev builds are hilarious since you have a 800 plus HP 9L engine that outruns any stock car.

I honestly haven't touched the Yukon since we bought LX (it's already been a year, that's crazy), it's been parked. Needs brakes all around bad to where towing would be dangerous, and I wouldn't tow regularly without some more regular maintenance that was never done like new coolant. I may end up donating it, where they come get it to make it easy and I don't have to deal with anything. It does have a great V8 though, just won't win any races today in 2022 lol.

couldn't be anymore incorrect on both. A lot of these older vipers that crash have old dry rotted tires. Dodge had a 8 liter V10 truck engine but it was cast iron heads and block. Lamborghini was used to develop an aluminum version. The only things they share is its a Dodge and the number of cylinders

There is also a huge difference between traditional big displacement NA V8 versus modern FI V8 with smaller displacement. The older ones certainly sound better, but both offer very different driving experience. There are also unicorns, such as the small, high revving NA v8 in the e9x M3.
A lot of cars from the OP's list are not easy to live with, they are probably better rented than owner. For long term, I'd probably go with the LC.

N/A V8 + Manual = Overall Winner
Only thing holding me back from the Mustang Mach-1 is that the next generation Mustang is due soon and Ford probably won't kill the N/A V8 + Manual just yet.
Also a fan of the C8 and LC 500, but not as raw in comparison.
I am actually planning to downsize from a N/A V8 to a Turbo 3-Cylinder. Tough times. Haha.
