Mercedes EQS SUV

Greenhouse and rear look like an ID4. Overall, it's nothing stand-out. Already seen the inside on other models. Same name as others is a bad move. I'm feeling it's somewhat of a lazy effort for this one. Should sell well though.

The idea that you would have essentially the same vehicle with the same interior in sedan and SUV form is clearly derived from Tesla and how they do the Model S and Model X and the Model 3 and Model Y. I don't see anybody else doing that.

Mercedes already has been doing this with the C-class and GLC interiors. Those were in development the same time as the Model S and Model X so hard to say they copied. The designs for the EQS sedan and SUV were locked in sometime in 2016 though so perhaps the exterior design similarity theme could've been copied.

I see that with the interior, but not the vehicle itself. Nobody would look at a C Class and a GLC and take a second to realize which is which, while that does happen with the Teslas. The Model Y for instance is literally just a taller Model 3, as this EQS SUV is really just a taller EQS Sedan.
EDIT: Also the squared off wheel wells contribute to a different look.

Way better than the sedan I agree. Still wouldn’t call it “good looking”, but I would drive it.
