Its a little rounder. It looks quite vanlike to me.

BTW EQS SUV fans do not appreciate it being called vanlike lol

If you look at the profile, it’s the short nose with the steep slope. The AMG package helps

Someone in our neighborhood just got one of these in black. Looks pretty good to me.

Yeah I've seen a few one the road already. I get why some people would say it's van-like but it doesn't look like an R-class out on the road to me.

I've seen these in person several times now, its better than the EQS Sedan, but still not compelling looking.

I played around with it on the EQS sedan during a test drive event and I enjoyed it

so i was at an mb dealer today and asked if i could drive an eqs suv as they had loads!

this is an eqs450+

this one didn't have the hyperscreen but i didn't care, i just wanted to see how it drove.

one of the other ones on the lot.

anyway, i did about a 10 minute drive (by myself, dealer was cool), and thoroughly enjoyed it. car is silent, incredibly smooth, very quick, handles great. to make sure i could get back to the dealer after various turns i used the "hey mercedes" voice recognition and asked for directions back... worked perfectly, and it did the augmented reality display (showing the forward camera view with arrows overlaid showing where i needed to turn or what lane i needed to be in)... very, very nice.

seats were sooo comfortable and i was surprised how much i liked the head 'pillows'.

this is a great vehicle. could definitely see getting one.

Nice review. Did it feel heavy? I think it weighs more than the G class. I agree, the hyper screen is over the top. The pic you posted looks classier. Is it a buy or a lease type of vehicle ?

Thanks for the write up. Was there much of a learning curve before driving off!

not in particular no, because it's so fast and agile.

Is it a buy or a lease type of vehicle ?
i'm not in the market right now, but could be either when the time comes.

none except the guy said there's no center console shift lever (it's the right stalk - pull it down, drive off after pressing the vehicle 'start' button, which does nothing except turn on the gauges)

there was no window sticker on the one i drove... sales guy was doing me a favor after i was looking at another vehicle for someone else. but the dealer website is not showing adm, it appears to be about $114K. yeah, not cheap! https://www.mbofgainesville.com/inve...m2db8pa010269/
