What really does it are the constant sharp turns and 360s I'm doing with it.

Let's ask other LX570 drivers.... I've seen an owner report 20-25kish mile tire replacement before.

It is tires. What tires do you have? my 21 4R has short wearing Bridgestones.....they won't make it past 30K...even worse are the Yokohama OEMs

They're expensive Michelins, I forget what model. But I'm not getting them again, per recommendations from on here. There's a better Michelin for what I have.

I'm not mad about this or anything.

Michelin Lattitudes, terrible treadwear.

I hope they will differentiate the TX version with the turbo six, even if it is the detuned GX version and offer the 2.4t hybrid max as an option. I'm going to assume this thing will start around $60k and top out around $80k or so.

My guess is no. The TX will be FWD with a longitudinal layout, adapting the TTV6 for that is not straightforward

I think you meant transverse. The existing LS/Tundra/Sequoia applications are longitudinal RWD layouts.

There is no reason to use the TTV6 when Toyota can simply make a PHEV version of the Hybrid Max 4-cylinder like Volvo if they really want more power out of it.

It's kinda unfortunate the TX will get a "550h+" nomenclature while utilizing a 4-cyl. Lexus absolutely bombed their numerical nomenclature. IMO it should be:

TX/RX500h -> TX/RX450h
TX550h+ -> TX500h+

500h is at least okay since there's LS and LC500hs with the NA V6 hybrid producing same output. But a 550h implies a higher output than *all* 500hs at least in my mind, which include the 5.0 and 3.4TTV6.
