No, because rating an amp at a particular level doesn't mean it can produce that power, sustain that power, and do it without distortion. Amp ratings are the biggest lie in any industry. And even if an amplifier meets its rating doesn't mean it sounds good.

Here are some of the best sounding amps you can buy

My hope for size comes from the Grand Highlander. When they have a vehicle the size of the Highlander, a Grand Highlander must be bigger right?
It is also getting hybrid max powertrain probably the same as RX500h so there will be plenty of power/torque. Hope it lives up to the ‘grand’ name and has a usable 3rd row

Me neither. I have yet to experience a hybrid that I truly like. Mild hybrids have been fine.

Probabaly because Toyota/Lexus hybrids have ECVT. If I am not mistaken the hybrid max doesn’t have a cvt but a conventional transmission and reviews have been quite positive

One of the best cars I’ve owned was a hybrid, the 600hL. I thought it had a smooth transition, quiet, gave a nice little boost of torque off the line and thought the transmission was fine. I really loved everything about that car.

I agree its not the be all end all, acoustics and hardware is important too. 450 is good enough. So is 590.. but you still want more power than less. I had said 1000 watts as everyone is now into Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos and multi channel audio. Personally I like 2-channel stereo CD.

I just looked up Lexus LX and Lexus LS…2400 watts

I’ve never driven or even gotten to sit in one of those. I’d love to drive one one day.

The Sequioa is the tightest and smallest in almost all aspects in its class and I expect the GH to be the same. I'm not expecting more than 6in in extra length and 1in in extra width in the GH and the HL is on the small side in its class so its not so grand.

6 inches in extra length would be an enormous space improvement to the Highlander...

Not when you are already near the smallest in your class.

I saw the new Sequoia the other day. TRD PRO. Black. It looks smaller the 2nd Gen.

6150lbs, Add batteries, you add mass

Its not that much smaller…7.5 inches shorter than a GLS, so 6 inches will help a lot.
