Could it be similar to this Crown SUV?

I’m just expecting something akin to the current Highlander/RX but on a stretched wheelbase.

That render looks like a knockoff FWD Cullinan.

I want to say Lexus TX as "Lexus Texas".

My wife has had a RX since 2002. I think we are on our 5th one. However, if Lexus/Toyota persists in only offering hybrid / 4 cylinders instead of a decent V6- she will never have another. We have already looked at MDXs. Toyota/Lexus is going downhill IMO.

IMO 5RX and a few more German I4s are better than 4RX's ancient V6. If my wife still loved RX, we would have ended up with another one. This is an improvement just like when 4RX came out IMO. Maybe TX will bring in some significants.

At first I really didn't like the 4cyclinder but its actually not a bad choice. You'll be saving a lot in gas and really you don't need the power from a V6.

The RX isn't really meant to be driven in a lively manner so having a V6 is wasteful. Now, if you like to drive more lively, get a V6/V8 sedan.

Its not about power, its about feel and refinement. From from a refinement perspective its a big step down.

I'd agree with you on this for sure. The difference in MPG from the V6 to the new turbo 4 cylinder is supposedly only 1 mpg. And the V6 can use regular vs. premium. A question for anyone...is there a big difference in emissions?

RX a 2 MPG difference. Yes, the smaller motor would be more efficient towards emissions. Also should use less engine oil as well

if Toyota produced a more modern cylinder with a turbo..that would superior to the I4. The 3.5 is way too old. Not much fun either

Front looks very similar to the Crown sedan that's only going to be sold in Japan

Looking at this photo, whether Grand Highlander or TX, if the emphasis is on the third row for leg room and comfort, then that 'bench' needs to be much more comfortable than what's currently offered and in the above photo.

How is it possible to tell if that bench seat is comfortable? Lol
