Default Can anyone identify this car?

I'm usually really good at recognizing cars but this one stumped me. Sorry for the bad pictures. Looked like a station wagon, no badge on the back. The only interesting characteristic feature is the chrome strip running from the roofline down. At first I thought the design language looked Buick, but I dont see a car on their website that matches this.

You are definitely correct about the design language being Buick. Its a Regal TourX:

Latest of many borrowed styling themes Buick has produced.
The cute convertible that was a soon to be departed Opal was nice.

That's the Cascada..a neighbor of mine has one.

Nice little ragtop, and extremely well-built, but the standard 20" wheels make it ride too rough.

That wagon with a 6.2 would be very fun, like an old roadmaster with an LT1....

Yeah…why not get the old 7.4 Vortec lol. And FWD. Those Roadmasters were cool. I went through a time where I thought about buying one for $500…just for fun

Funny thing is those actually are a decent platform underneath, RWD and decent suspension that can be setup easily. A 7.4 or 8.1 would be stupid lol!

Oh yeah. There was once a 8.1 in trucks. That must have been awesome to drive

Lol!! Ironically I saw one yesterday and today (probably the same car), so yea was quick on the trigger with my response. I never see these either, so I was probably as shocked as you were. It's an attractive design but that's it for me.

What's with the chrome strips above and below the license plate, though? Everything about this car is clearly a Regal TourX, but I can't find a single photo of that model that has those.

Honestly it's not, slow to respond and really bad gearing that doesn't let it rev out easily. Also not nearly as fast as you would think......very insensitive to towing loads/weight though. 8 mpg highway lol!

The CTS-V wagon was only a little bit bigger, and had the Supercharged 6.2L (LSA) with an optional manual.
