Wrong, I have owned a car with a screen... I had a 2015 Accord. I didn't like the touchscreen for navigating my music. Physical buttons are just so much better and easier. It has also been proven that screens are much more distracting than buttons, but don't take my word for it:
There is no way to "navigate music" through a modern system without a screen. Its not as simple as just listening to the radio anymore, there are different services and different genres and playlists etc, you have to have a screen.
And the infotainment in that Accord is terrible compared to what we're talking about.
Bahaah. I wonder what a Alfa Romeo face would look like…or a Tesla S….or Spindle Lexus IS has the best looking front end
When your grille design is the butt-end of all jokes in the automotive world, you know you really messed up designing it. I can't believe they still haven't retired the thing yet.

IS and NX look better than the old Lexus stuff. Not all Lexus spindles look good. LX looks great
The IS is probably the best looking of all the spindles, if not counting the 2013-2015 design of the GS. Not sure if that half-spindle carried over to the other models those years.
But yeah, full spindle the IS is the best looking probably because it's smaller and that design goes better on a smaller vehicle. The GX and LX are horrendous lol and I think the RX is too. At least a few years ago it was. Not sure if they toned it down since.

I guess we lucked out with the best spindle and the pre-LCI G20. (Wife's car is the 330i, I've got the IS.)
I think the pre-LCI G20 is a really good looking thing overall.
I think your Lexus looks better than the BMW. But the BMW looks like a nicer size to live with
Yeah the BMW has a nicer back seat for sure. It is bigger and has its own climate zone and rear climate controls. This isn't even a fully-loaded 330i and has that. The power trunk is also nice when we have our hands full, legitimately useful when we were moving and were hauling heavy items around frequently.
Thankfully, the LCI G20 is going to retain all the everyday usability of the G20, so it will still be a good car. But it is hard not to buy a "good car" these days, so complaints and comparisons are almost always hair-splitting lol.
I think the IS feels a bit more connected than the BMW when it comes to driving experience and looks nicer, but the MPG and overall drivetrain performance is better in the BMW. Honestly, the IS, in spite of being a practical reliable Lexus, wins in the emotional categories, where the BMW wins the on-paper contests. But I was just chatting in another thread that the 330i gets more compliments than the Lexus. I think people just see "silver Lexus" when they see this car and that's it. That Portimao Blue Metallic paint is wonderful.
