An NX doesnt have to fit a 500h engine only a 4 cylinder. Why else would they do this. Or did they just raise the hood for no reason and make visibility worse? The beltline looks higher in this one than the previous gen, maybe the hood had to come up for that.
“have to fit a 500h engine”?!? It’s a tiny 4 cyl lol. You could put 3 of them in there.
The 500h is not the V6 hybrid in the LS500h and LC500h. It’s a 2.4L 4.
I feel like it shouldn’t have been difficult to maker a better looking grille. This solution made the RX look like it has a big forehead. The rest is nice and consumers will respond positively to all the hybrid choices.

Had one of my green drinks LOL. Brilliant marketing by Lexus, this is a good prelude of how Lexus Is becoming more electrified. Looks like crap, but its the transition to EV
Remember the RX from 2016. When it first came out it had a vomit inducing grill and over styled body lines. People just got used to it because so many of them were on the road.
Exactly what will happen here.
The vehicle looks great except for the nose job. Interior, side and back look very nice. It'll continue to sell very well.
I bet 2022 this year is the last year that RX will sell well?
By the end of 2023, I bet it will be down hill for 2023 RX?
Let's see if I'm right.
I am more than happy to be wrong.
There is nothing wrong with making a bet...
I remember somebody saying they wanted 6 piston front brakes and thinking that was insane, but here they are!
That actually makes me very concerned about the weight. It's silly to have such monstrous brakes on a crossover that's slower a GS350, especially when it already has regenerative braking due to being a hybrid. This thing must weigh as much as a pickup truck due to the batteries.
Even then, there are EV's out there that weigh more than this and are far faster yet have brakes half this size.
