Pricey as expected. For some reason you can't add the 14 inch screen with the Mark Levinson, but if you could that would be another grand on top of this.

Seems about 6k more than a fully loaded 2022 model.

Thought the 14-in screen is standard on the higher trims (especially the 500h)?

Seems like Lexus is marketing the 500h as a more sporty offering rather than a fuel-saving model, similar to how the old GS450h was.

No, it's listed as a separate add-on in the configurator. You can get it, but not with the Mark Levinson audio.

I'm actually surprised at how many a-la-carte options there are on this RX, it's comparable to Mercedes's GLE.

Can always count on Lexus to come through with the ridiculous configuration options. smh.

No surprise on this high price. In line with the MDX Type S though and probably cheaper than the German rivals I'd imagine. More expensive than the GV70 though and others like Infiniti, Volvo, Cadillac.

40i sDrive starts at 61.600 and xDrive starts at 64,325. GLE450 4Matic starts at $63,950. They are both faster too. This RX starts at 62,750. And $1105 for the interface? I guess sales numbers will tell.

I don't see this build and price feature on the Lexus website, where are you running this from?

I'm going to guess that the Mark Levinson package for the 500h already includes the 14" screen. The Mark Levinson only costs $1160 for the 350h, and if you add that to the $1105 for the 14" navi display, you get, ta-da, the $2265 Mark Levinson package for the 500h. There is no way Lexus will miss out on giving you the 14" display on the higher trims since it comes with a bunch of subscription features after the 3 yr trial is up.

According to the brochure, you are correct.

This hasn't always been the case with Lexus though, the NX450h+ doesn't even offer the Mark Levinson audio despite it being on lower trims.

The Mark Levinson issue with the NX450h+ was most likely due to space limitations. The extra batteries for the plugin took up room where the ML sub would be, thus it couldn't be offered in the NX. Not quite an issue with these RXs; although we won't know if this might affect the upcoming RX450h+ too.

GV70 competes with the NX. The RX is in between the GV70 and GV80.

Comparing the price to the smaller GV70, the Genesis can max out at 59k for the 4cyl & 68k for the 6cyl, The GV80 4cyl can max out at 68k also, so it seems the RX pricing, even though it has gone up, will still be very competitive.

May be so but German I6s start at low 60s. So IMO their pricing is quite off.
