The current RX has a CD player....I wonder if the new one will have one as well. Lexus LX600 comes with a CD player. I hope the RX is 2-row only

My bad Motorola. I apologize. Wasn't meant as an insult. People spend so much on luxury items or expensive higher priced cars....these automakers should be offering options for consumers. My 4R was $63K and for that I don't get a CD player? I can enjoy my lifetime collection of classical music and my very extensive library of film soundtracks. This is wrong. But Toyota DOES offer the CD player in the new 2023 Lexus LX600....so they got that right

They are nice but usually smaller than V8s and lack some of the outright emotion. A large 10 is amazing since it's exotic and also angry, some 12s are not angry......but they were not supposed to be.

Yep and it's a 700hp beast in many cases....owners love turning that one up a LOT.

Thanks, no insult taken. And while I understand the sentiment, it's still expensive to implement a piece of hardware that few are going to use, so I totally understand why Toyota and others don't offer it anymore.

I don't think the LX600 has a CD player...

Exactly. My car has Tidal and that sounds pretty good.

I have plenty of lossless audio on my iPhone that sounds better than the CD version.

To get that quality with minimal loss to your car, it needs to be via analogue as the digital output will compress and resample that audio via an negotiated codec.

The ML system then just amplifies that analogue signal.

Lexus as usual has been very good at keeping this new model under wraps. Other than a couple camouflaged pics of the exterior, and that only recently, no other leaks except what Lexus has wanted us to see.
