I'm not sure if this is an insult or not, but the basic overall shape is like that of many garbage-trucks.

I've seen worse looking vehicles. It's really not that bad.

To me, the measure of whether something is bad (or ugly, in this case) is NOT that something worse exists. There can be multiple bad things in a single category. But if you like it, sure, no problem....

AMC Eagle…early 1980s

Many automotive historians (and I agree) consider this the original crossover….15 years ahead of its time.

Love that woody side-trim… that really makes the vehicle.

I had a '78 Chevy Malibu wagon with the "woody" trim. Totally cheesy fake glued on paper--peeling by the door handles. Not classy at all, despite the "Classic Estate" name given to it by Chevy.

Of course it looks cheesy if it is not cared for and fades or peels…but, if in good condition, IMO it really adds to the vehicle’s looks.

Thank you @Oro .
Can't believe I finally know one!

And I'm not saying what it is until someone else does. Lol

It’s obviously an MG, late 60s but what’s the name of that rare top section? They had more than this one, another had rear side windows.

Correct, it's '67 MGB with a rare Ashley GT hardtop. The hardtop makes it look like a totally different car.

Currently on sale for $22k.

I passed one of these 10 days ago on I-5 between Seattle and Tacoma. Got a long good look at it; very neat.
