Noice that it has a steering wheel from an original Datsun 240Z. I don't know if that was a retrofit or if it came standard on this car....an early 70s Datsun 510 Wagon.

Need a different color tho.
Guessing orange is original since hood is black and maybe from a donor car, just a guess.

I don't remember bright-orange being an original color on a 510...but that was a long time ago, and I may have just forgot. Orange DID come on some 240Zs.

To circumvent fuel rationing during the German military administration in occupied France during World War II, Arzens used an electric motor, which was powered by five 12-volt batteries located under the bench seat. Each battery had a capacity of 250 ampere hours, and weighed 60 kilograms (130 lb). The car had a top speed of 70 kilometres per hour (43 mph), and a range of 100 kilometres (62 mi).[3]
After the war, Arzens replaced the electric motor with a 125 cc (7.6 cu in) Peugeot single-cylinder petrol engine, which produced 5.5 horsepower (4.1 kW). This resulted in an increase in the car's top speed, to 80 kilometres per hour (50 mph).[4]

That model, at least here in the U.S., was called the B210. A co-worker of mine bought one brand-new back in the mid-70s.

^^^ isn't that the fugly aston suv?
#358
Yep... that thing is probably near or over 200K. I guess fugly is a subjective term. Some just want to be different. There are plenty of spots to park but he decided to pull in next to the truck to be near the entrance.
He just posted another AM recently so he probably knows right top of his head. I had no idea until I saw the name plate too.
