I never saw this on the road locally. But I did see its cousin, the Chevy Epica, a lot. It stood out to me because of the rear taillight similarities to the 2dr Civic at the time.

Yes, you are correct that there was also a Chevy version (GM, at that time, held a stake in Suzuki). There was also a Daewoo version….the Magnus.
In fact, Daewoo actually designed and developed this car.
