It's not a Jag I don;t think but does look a whole lot like a MG like mentioned.

OK, it's an MG Midget....the smallest of all of the MGs produced over the years. I had a chance to sample and drive one when was about 18 or so....a colleague of mine, in high school, briefly owned one. With my 6' 2" heavy frame, It was one of the three most difficult cars I ever tried to get in and out of and actually drive....along with the 1970 Opel GT and the mid-2000s Lotus Elise. I could not test-drive the '70 GT at all, because the cabin was so narrow that the driver's door kept bouncing off my left shoulder and would not close at all. I managed to enter/exit and drive the Elise, but only with EXTREME difficulty. The Midget was also extremely cramped, but I managed to drive it and use the shift-lever and clutch for a few miles or so.

The truth is that those vehicles were simply not designed for big, burly Americans.
