It kinda does.
It's rear engine that's for sure, scratch that- maybe rear engine.

Looks straight out of the 1970's to me.

It's a little-known fact that the Maserati Bora was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Among many others, he also designed the De Tomasso Mangusta, Lotus Esprit S1 (The Spy Who Loved Me), BMW M1, and of course, the DeLorean. Interestingly enough, the Pantera was designed by American-born Tom Tjaarda.

Yep...the new Electra.

In their day and time, I was a BIG fan of the old Electras, and owned a used one.

Haven't seen one of these in a long time.

Other than seeing them driving around back in the day I really know nothing about them.

Bonus points if you've drove it and know some info on it.

What am I?

80s/early-90s Subaru Brat...essentially a Japanese FWD/AWD equivalent of the Dodge FWD Rampage/Plymouth Scamp. AWD finally became standard on all U.S.-market Subarus after this generation of the Brat was discontinued.

It essentially drove like any other Subaru of the period...tight, well-built, good handling, but with a liquid-cooled flat-four engine that sounded and vibrated like a washing-machine. It took Subaru years to work some refinement into their flat-fours.
