Pontiac ***-tek. Or something like that.

Held the top spot for "ugliest vehicle currently in production" throughout its entire run. The Nissan Juke carries the torch for it now.

LOL. It had faded away into obscurity until Walter White came on the scene. Actually a perfect car for his character.

Aztek is the correct spelling.

While styling can be subjective, yep...the Aztec and Juke never won any beauty-awards.

I would argue, though (just my personal opinion), that the front ends of some recent Toyotas are also way up there on the ugly-charts.

Ya'll got it.
I've never had any desire to drive the Aztec but like mentioned, the Juke may be just as ugly. Lol

I used to call it the "Joke"

Mechanically, though, it had a good reputation, was well-built, was reliable, and did the job...if you didn't mind being stared at as you drove down the street.

Well, you are far from alone. Even some of those who staffed Pontiac dealerships said it was ugly as s***.

The Aztec did have its fans, though, however admittedly few. I remember, back in the early 2000s, I was helping my just-retired ex-supervisor shop for a new Suburban or Yukon XL. We were at a Pontiac/GMC shop in suburban MD, looking at a Yukon XL (which, BTW, he bought), when a young couple stopped by, expressed interest in a white Aztec on the lot, took it out for a test-drive, feel in love, and took it home a couple of hours later. The salespeople there told me they had never seen anyone take to the Aztec like that. I believe it.
