I believe it's a 1963, last year of the floating style headlights.

I bet you're right. I was thinking early 60's too. 1962 or '63.

My folks had a 61 that was quite similar. Push button TorqueFlite and a rectangular steering wheel and a kickazz motor.

Default Almost got me evicted! lol

In the late 1980's as a teenager right out of high school I may have flipped a few cars for resale and this one almost got me evicted.

My landlord lived next door and said I had 24 hours to get rid of that "Jalopy" or find somewhere else to live. lol

The car was in horrendous beater condition and my landlord was not happy for me allegedly storing "junk cars" so I sold it fast to the first person that showed up for what I paid for it.

What am I?

That one is easy for me I knew a family that had one, in green. I'll let other people guess.

^^^Jakerin got it

These '69/70 Chryslers were well-publicized for their new "fuselage" body-styling, but were poorly-screwed together, had unreliable electrical systems, used cheap materials outside of the durable powertrains, had woefully bad fit/finish, were lacking in sound insulation, and, in general, were a big quality-drop from the much better '67/68 model and especially the excellent '65/66.

I had a friend who bought one of these brand new back in the day.

It was a hot car to have for a young person on a budget.
Not "fast" but could be considered a little sporty.

What am I?

Ya'll got it.

I was trying to post up a pic of the Ford Escort GT.

When they were new they looked good-ish. Lol

The GT version had a little more umph than the standard Escort and had bigger tires too.

What ya'll got?
Post it up! 😁
