The Chrysler TC was a joint-design by Chrysler and Maserati. Major assemblies were done by both companies. That's one reason why it was so difficult to produce....and required trips across the ocean to do so.

I'm not sure what you mean by "fingers in the Town and Country"?
The term TC, by the way, was not used to mean "Town & Country", which was used, first, for Chrysler Station wagons, then for versions of the Chrysler minivans. The TCs was a coupe/convertible (bolt-on roof), not a minivan or wagon.

What I meant is I was pondering what kind of relationship the euro brand folks at Maserati had with the Chrysler folks to get involved with the TC.
