Yes and no. Edsels went out after 1960. Chrysler products used transmission push-buttons (but on the dash, instead of the wheel) until the mid-60s, when they switched to floor and column-shifts. And push-buttons have recently come back on some Honda/Acura, Lincoln, Buick, and GMC models.
The first-generation 1966 Olds Toronado used a rotating drum speedometer with the same idea as the Edsels, but it rotated vertically instead of horizontally.

As far as the O.P's original question, I bow out as soon as I saw the steering on the right (Wrong ) side and admit to having no clue!

Officially It's a Thames, but, yes, a Dormobile version.
I rode in a Thames as a young kid, about 8 or 9 years old, to grade-school every morning...the American school I was at, overseas, used one as a daily school-bus. It was a passenger version, without the camp-top.

Good one!
You get push button start now days. Lol
I think it's cool.
If my car had buttons for P, N, D I'd be ok with that.
Which came first?
And where did the put they engine, front or back?
If anyone knows.

Didn't the early '60's Chryslers have a push button for park? If I remember correctly, my parents had a Dodge Polara (Monaco?)with push buttons including park. Believe it was a 1960 model.
