So am I. You and I have many years of driving experience, as do a lot of others in Car Chat. But I post some things for a reason. We are not the only ones reading this forum. Younger members, guests, and those with little driving experience can sometimes learn from our comments. Even I, with more than a half-century of experience in ownership and test-drives, still learn from many comments from others....I don't know it all.

Yes Mike, it’s the 2022. Hence why I said “the new QX60” and why I posted a picture of it in the first place.

Adaptive or not, cruise-control is just about hopeless in the D.C. area. I rarely use the one in my Encore GX (which does have the adjustable adaptive feature), except occasionally on Sunday morning when traffic is lighter. There is simply too much traffic, too little available road-space for the traffic, and, if it DOES happen to leave a space, some joker will surely pull into it within the next ten seconds LOL.

The following distance in my IS doesn't go short enough to stop folks from inserting themselves in front of me. But, I generally don't like to follow that close anyway for my own and others' safety. So I'll take the occasional frustration if it means I'm more safe 99% of the time.

Tell her they haven't completely fixed the 48V issue yet. I like the new QX60 too. Don't know how it looks inside but outside looks sharp. QX50 is also nice. But some mentioned the gear box and display are outdated? I was a fan of Infiniti but never actually got one for myself.

I like the new QX60. They look really good.
My sister just bought a new QX50 a few months back. The displays don't really bother me. It's a nice ride and I'm pretty impressed with the interior. I forget her trim level, but it's at the top. The light brown and dark brown interior with blue suede inserts. I'm more impressed with it than I thought I'd be. It's like this:

The QX60 does indeed look nice and I count the use of the MB 9-speed instead of a CVT as being a plus. Seems like it and the Acura MDX would be easy cars to compare.
This is hardly the first time he's gotten that feedback. Every time I see it happen I'm like "Is this what being "mansplained" to feels like?" lol
Quite frankly, its really annoying. When you "explain" something like that to someone, it comes across as if you think that person doesn't already know what it is you're telling them. I would suggest that maybe if you want to address a comment "to those who don't know", you should do that instead of directing the comment to a member who you know already knows what you're posting.

Thats exactly what it must be like!
