--You can still hear the V8 chug in the background even with music decently loud when you get on the gas in the LX. Glorious. 5.7 has a distinctive chugging sound and feel I've never experienced in a V8 before.
--Those good tires that came with my 10/10 condition chrome rims I bought for my LS430 ($1k) have quieted down to normal, they howled when I put them on. I have no idea why but they did. Some people told me on here they wouldn't quiet down but I knew they would after a couple thousand miles. I feel like I got the steal of the century, $250 each for 10/10 rims with Michelins. Have transformed the car from regal but quiet to head turning but not flashy.
--The SL500 supposedly will be ready this week. They had to take it to another place for the top, a part issue. The price and miles seem too good to be true for the price but I did talk to him today and they will take my American Express to make it wham bam thank you ma'am. He assures me it's in good to excellent condition and they wouldn't sell anything less. By their reviews and website I mostly believe him. I don't think they realize what they have.

If he is a small dealer specializing in low mileage nice used cars he could be pricing to move them.
Also, if his reviews are good, this may be a clue.
I've had good luck with dealers like this.
I was behind one of these. I saw an X6 the other day and thought it was weird. This thing is beyond weird. Or am I weird? Hope they won't destroy the X5 with the LCI.

That's the X4, which is the "coupe" version of the X3, just like the X6 is the "coupe" version of the X5. The entire concept of a coupe SUV is stupid, IMO. But the X3 and X5 have continued to be great. This is what the un-stupid version of that vehicle looks like from the rear:

That BMW rear end does not look very stylish. Saw one last night, not at all a fan of those lights.

The X6 I saw the other day also had a change in the rear. They both look very out of place. Overall I don't like or hate X6/GLE Coupe. X4 before this change did look fine IMO.

I think the older X5's looked good, bring it back cuz I'd drive it.
Add- update it of course and nicer rims too but bodystle is ok with me.

So much of what they are doing is weird!
My guess is the LCI will be similar to the X7. You'll have the new dual screen inside, the split DRL/headlights in the front and just lamp tweaks in the back.

From what I've seen/read, split lights are not coming. I read that is "reserved" for top models. Not that I have an issue with it. I've seen new X7 and i7. Somehow they don't seem to bother me.
