I knew someone(not a friend) that added 1-2% on the loan aka got the loan approved and added extra percentage points to pad the dealer's profit.
From what I understand, these are common dealer tricks.
Very common, but you have to fall for those tactics. The fact that dealers do that and inflate rates just shows that average is even more meaningless to smart consumers.

Easily one of the best designs of the 2000s and maybe the best looking Acura ever. That car has aged like finnnne wine.

Mine looked like this:

His name was Shaft.

Right, but that doesn't mean the average is invalid. Reminds me of a quote I heard years ago:

"Think about how smart the median person is. Now realize that fully half of all people are dumber than that."

Yeah and I lost my guy, he has health issues and can't do it anymore so I'm without reliable PDR.

Also, the weather snuck up on me and I had my spray freeze lol! That was my sign to stop freezing my hands and go inside

Frozen lol!

Last pictures I'll send for now but the paint is quite good. Not as good as the LS but still nice

Needs a light polish but not bad after clay. Ultra smooth and feels like glass now

To depress everyone a little more- if average iQ is 100, same rule applies- half are over and half are under.
So, remember that when your driving down the road and look to the car on the left and then the car on the right and add some distraction on that with texting. haha
Average IQ is less than that but we're being generous. lol

Good advice!
Yeah, I haven't financed a car in over 10 years because it does not profit me when I drive so few miles.

I learned the hard way.
At some time or another I've fallen for every scam in the book. lol

My friend has the exact same car and same color too.
Bought it as a dealer trade in at 40k miles and now has 160k miles on it.

Looking good bro.
My poor car has never seen a clay bar.

She hates me even more now cuz ever since I backed into a lumber cart at Lowes and dented the trunk lid she only gets hosed off every couple months.
Watched a video on you tube about removing heavy scratches using fine grit sand paper and buffing it out but that didn't work out so well, paint has a blury spot on the door now, I'll get around to doing it right someday.

Dam, I've been slack. lol

Not bad.

I thing the Acura Vigor and Legend were the best Acuras ever. And the original Integra

That's really bad! I've noticed this at my local dealer as well on some of their vehicles. No thanks.

I tried to take a picture in the garage last night of mine, but with the white it doesn’t really come out.

Did you try this?

Best stuff I've seen short of a body shop...which of course, you'll need if it is a really deep scratch. But Scratch-Out can deal wth all kinds of minor surface scratches/stains/abrasions....things which do not go through the clearcoat. And it leaves a slick/polished surface that will bead up water for months afterward.

That won’t do anything for orange peel lol. Only way to get rid of orange peel is by wetsanding.

And don’t argue with me about it, I have polished out many cars in my life and once owned a detailing business.

The paint on my car is in excellent shape and ceramic coated. MB paint just has a lot of peel.

So when I was pulling off the clip of the pedestrian from my dashcam I found this, thought it was fun. Crossing the WV state line on I64 in the S560...

No, I agree It won't take out orange peel....nor is it intended to. I thought you were talking about those 4 or 5 parallel-scratches, from the image you posted.

And please try not to be so impolite....I wasn't questioning its effect on orange peel...or your experience in detailing buisness.

But I will say this much.....I once showed off its effect to the Detail/Pre-Delivery-Manager of a local Toyota dealership (the one me and my late mother once used for my Celica and her Corolla wagon)...and he offered me a job, in his shop, right on the spot LOL.

There are no scratches in that picture.

Sorry, but you have a tendency to argue about things when the other party really knows what they are talking about. We were talking about orange peel...Inapologize for being rude.

You can see it in the reflection of the bulb but still....that's not bad at all compared to the Maybach
