That also makes me feel old. I remember when those were new and my aunt bought one, it's vague but I still remember it.

I drove my 460 for the first time since the W12 was delivered, I'm going to make a comparison thread since they are so different.....not really a better/worse situation but very different imparted emotions and experiences.

To the 460s credit it acted like I last drove it yesterday lol!

Sorry, but you have a tendency to argue about things when the other party really knows what they are talking about. We were talking about orange peel...Inapologize for being rude.

So... The gen before it would qualify for them too.

Aren't there rules with the historic plates?

I used to valet park and remember getting the Maxima 4DSC. Man that car could rev the engine.

When I was a kid in the 80s, anyone having any car from the 60s was pretty much automatically "cool". One of my classmates had a '64 Ford Galaxie -- a 23 year old family sedan. 289 engine - not a muscle car; no desirable option packages; baby moon hubcaps.

I can't imagine a teenager today thinking "Oh, cool, I'm getting a 2000 Honda Accord!"

Yeah, it varies from state to state. In MD its 25 years old. The fact that Maxima is 25 years old is shocking lol.

I don't want to lol! I'm already judged as being 7-10 years older than I am by people when in person

Just for the record that’s not a 25 year old car. That’s either a 2000 or 2001.

A little off-topic, maybe, but I can tell that is northbound on Georgia Ave (Md. Route 97) at the Beltway. I spent much of my Federal career working just a couple of miles south of there....in Silver Spring.

BTW, those cloverleaf-ramps coming off the Beltway onto Georgia Ave are quite dangerous if you don't slow way down. They are very sharp and tight, and lots of people either spin out or lose control because they are not aware of them.

So I double checked my Google from earlier, its 20 years for "Historic" tags, and 25 years for "Vintage" tags...which makes no sense lol, but yes your guess on the year is right, I want to say that get came out in 00 or 01?

Yeah they are very tight. I actually was in my first accident there when I was 16, I was coming from the Beltway westbound going north on Georgia Ave and a woman rear ended me when she turned around to look at her baby in the backseat while she was coming down the offramp behind me.

And General Car Convo, no such thing as off topic as long as it has something to do with cars

I keep seeing this stupid ES commercial. I know it's a commercial but who drives like this?

I'm usually pretty far back but this would tire ones arms after two minutes. What is your driving position?
