Drive it, it's too similar for the price. Interior is Bentley yes but for that much it needs to feel unlike anything else

Uh....it's more than double a Q7 so that means I expect both the Bentley bespoke interior AND an unequalled driving experience. RR offers this in their option so I don't know why Bentley doesn't when they are the drivers car

That's three weeks at max power, they also started it 100 times at -10 degrees and floored it to redline, ran it to 110* C and then turned it off, flushed it with -30* coolant and then start it to WOT until it's back to 110* 400 times. Every single one is ram in for at least 5 hours at WOT before install as well.
Oh I know, that V8 was special for sure and seriously impressive. I didn't know all these details like you do but yes I believe it.

The redline is I think is in the low 4000s. That's a car you can drive under 1600RPM for life I bet.

I think most people would would be very surprised to see the validation testing procedures for most performance/luxury car engines. They are all quite extreme.

On a completely different note, I just spent an hour in the back of a Lucid. Neither my husband’s AMG EQS not this car can compare to the rear seat of an i7. The Lucid is worse as my knees are very elevated due to the battery pack and there’s zero room for your feet under the front seat. It’s a very cool technical exercise but much like a Model S not for me at all.

A RR is way more money than a Bentayga. It’s like a Maybach S Class or GLS, they are still an S Class or GLS…

Depends on options, I would option a Bentaga to about $275k or more if I actually was a buyer new. It's too close at that price....

The RR at mid 3s is more yes but it's also wholly special. It can command that were as the Bentayga can't since it's really just a heavily dressed Q7 and it shows when you drive it and are under one. It's the entry level Bentley for mass market appeal, not at all what I want at that level.

A RR Cullinan with any options is a $400,000+ vehicle...

Lots of people buy Bentaygas, so they clearly can command that. I wouldn't buy any of those vehicles so its a moot point...but a RR Cullinan is on another level from a Bentayga financially and physically. You can make an argument that a Continental and a Flying Spur are derived from the Panamara too,

Have you driven all three of the latter? I have and they are "derived" from them and that's it....they are nothing alike and there is no crossover.

Bentayga just doesn’t have the presence it should. It’s small.

The Mulsanne is a sedan that might as well be an Escalade ESV size wise but their SUV is so little and teeny.
