Door storage organizer
Hello everyone
hope all is well!
I used to have an RX and GS and now have an LS and on the previous cars, on the doors they had something there where you can put your phone, cigarettes, etc. on the LS it’s just open and just falls through. Anyone know where I can purchase the right size handle cup or side door storage cup( idk what to call it or what it’s called, sorry) where I can just slide it in. Been looking everywhere and have no idea what other car are similar to it and the right size.
thank you!!!

Absolutely, positively, love my moonroof. In decent weather, I often drop all the windows and open the moonroof as I'm walking up to the car. That said, I made the very difficult decision of skipping it on my next car, for reasons I'll reveal at a later date.

At one time, automakers provided a by-pass linkage and emergency hand-crank in case of electronic failure, but I have not seen that for some time now....probably simple cost-cutting.
Oh, and I forgot one............the housings for the sun roofs also can take up to an inch of headroom out of the ceiling.

I see you are new member so Welcome to Club Lexus!
You may get better help posing about this in the LS forum from people more familiar with your specific model.
Hi 703, this went right over my head, is this a Mercedes or something?
I never use my sun roof, I think that's what I have on my RX330.
Disclaimer, not really sure the difference between moonroof and sunroof but guessing same thing.
PS- I'd be ok if my next car didn;t have one.

Since you don't want to reveal it now, I don't necessarily expect you to reply to this, but I'll make a couple of early-guesses as to why: added price, squeaks/leaks/rattles, and the small but not-insignificant chance of failure and of not being able to close it just as a storm comes up.

A sunroof is a solid, opaque panel, usually the same color as the body. There is no interior shade, because none is needed. I haven't seen a car with one in many years, perhaps decades. A Moonroof is a glass panel, which lets at least some light through--they are usually heavily tinted to reduce glare and heat. There is typically also a shade that can block all light if desired.

This reminds me of the wheel teaser and then reveal threads people use to post here in the past. Keeping all of us in suspense..lol

I find the moon/sun roof handy in Florida. Hit the key as I walk up to the vehicle, open the windows/sunroof & it lets all the heat out. Better than remote start where the A/C has to compete with the 1xx degree temp inside the vehicle if the hot air is not let out first.
