I thought maybe you'd get a piddly $1,000 write off or something.

Hahaha, Yukon hasn't been driven in wellll over a year and is just dead weight sitting in family's driveway. Half the reason I need someone to come get it is bc it's not safe to drive, I bet the tires are dry rotted all to hell. I have a connection to that GMC but considering what we have that we didn't 3-4 years ago, I doubt I'll be shedding tears. And yes there is one thing in there I need to get out.

Has a great Chevy V8 though, it's been a good truck..GMT 800s were great. Very very reliable.

But, adios.

Yeah it wasn't much, $1,000 maybe $1,500. Better than nothing...

Haha. Many people are confused by it, but I love that I can parallel park in crowded neighborhoods without worrying about my car getting scratched and it's nice to not attract attention with your vehicle sometimes.

yeah everyone knows how you only want rockets, but 0-100 mph (160kph in video) in under 10 seconds is plenty fast enough for me...

I was about 40 minutes early for an appointment so I stopped by the Infiniti dealer and checked out a new QX60. Man, talk about seriously nice! Beautiful interior, great materials, everything stitched and padded, great seats, nice leather. Very spacious in the front two rows, third row is a little tight. Definitely will consider one before we pull the trigger on the Telluride. This one was fully loaded with a sticker of $67K.

Also, I saw this today, so terrible how Genesis does their front license plates...

Now that you pointed it out, that does look pretty bad but its been that way since the beginning of time. I think they should customize their plates by modifying it to make it smaller. As long as the plate number and stickers are readable and present for law enforcement. I'd get custom chrome letters lol.

They can't do that by law, they have to display the whole plate. Some states won't even let you use a plate frame. Given the design of the car, theres not much they can do. I don't run a front plate on my car, but I think it looks fine with a front plate. A Genesis no way I would run a front plate!

Yeah I get the whole law thing but its a small fine to pay if an officer decides to fine you for it(which is pretty rare if they do). Plus, if you customize the actual letters to metal(not just the plate letters on the plate), youre still showing the id of the car. The flip side is some people run no front plates at all.

A vehicle manufacturer can't design the car that way though so that its not legal. Me? I just wouldn't run a front plate, but thats a bigger issue in some states than others. I haven't run a front plate since 2017 and the only issue I have had was one ticket while the car was parked, and that wasn't even in MD...$50 ticket no big deal.

But that's the same with all newer Lexus though. Imagine you have to put a plate on an LC. I personally would risk it and leave it out. I wonder how super cars get away with no plate. I got tickets few times for this very same reason. Few neighbors never got a ticket even some of their cars are much older than mine. Maybe I present a potential risk to the cops.

For some reason it looks way worse on Genesis Models than on Lexus models. I think its because the grille continues down to the bottom of the bumper. The plates on the Genesis just look like they are up way too high on the front.
