Note quite in that manner, but GM has had a cover for front license plate frame locations for decades in some of their cars.

or more famously on the Corvette

oh yea totally forgot about the corvette having that... i'm a bit surprised toyota did it that way on the LS considering how many states don't require a front plate, i guess they figured there wouldn't be many LS sales in those lol

That is a well thought out design.

thoughts?
If you don't need the car or enjoy having the car, I would ditch it. If its still providing valuable transport for someone, then thats different. My mom drives my old 03 ES300, so if it costs $2k every once and a while for repairs, for her that makes a lot of sense because she drives very little (maybe 2,000 miles a year, if even that) and paying for a new or newer car makes no sense, and its still a comfortable, attractive safe car.

either way, i guess genesis would have to entirely redesign the fronts to make it work better. somehow i think they don't care.
Just an example of the license plate being in the same spot, thats the OEM location. Both are ugly.

I think these were just for press pictures...I've never seen one that didn't have the cutout.

I'm also donating the Yukon, I'm gonna find something for kids where they come get it. Do you still get a tax write-off even if you take no money for it? It's early still and I haven't had my caffeine.
You can deduct the amount the charity sells it for or the FMV, but it depends. If you don't itemize your deductions since the standard deduction is pretty high, you're out of luck.

Imposter! I parked next to it and from the side first thing I saw was the rims and F-sport badge but once I got out of the Jeep I saw the brakes were wrong.....then I saw the front end and started laughing. It not even RWD!

I'm also annoyed that one of the few times I washed the Jeep it rained in less than 6 hours. I only wash it about once a month at a paint shredder but still....24 hours would have been nice.

Super fake. If he/she bothered to actually swap more than just rims and slap badges on I would be less harsh but this is just sad

I'm assuming he meant it was AWD, but I too did not understand the comment as the LS can be had in AWD with the F Sport package.

On the GS350, the AWD versions of the F Sport don't get the F Sport brakes (only RWD do). Anyone know if it's the same for the LS460?

Yeah that's pretty bad. That's a first gen LS460 before any facelifts it looks like.

Just leave it alone. Anyone who knows anything about Lexus LS would laugh at that.

that's how i've always felt about people up-badging their C300 with AMG logos, like aren't you just reminding yourself of what you don't have every time you drive the car? also the only people who actually know what AMG is are the same people who will be able to tell it's a fake lol, nobody else would even notice

now something like this i can appreciate, i did such a double-take when i walked past haha

That is HILARIOUS because yesterday I was behind a brand new C300 that had a personalized plate “MCH2FUN”. They’re prerogative of course but there’s nothing fun about a 2.0t. If it were the 6 cylinder I would have taken it much more seriously.
