The Maybach rims were awesome. Where they hide brakes and hub I like that.

They look odd to me. I like the regular Mercedes rims.

I like them but I think it should be using monoblock style rims to more instantly call out the fact this is the V12.

Tacky interior? LOL okay

The problem with those specific rims is that they're 21s and have very low profile tires...

Interesting shot. Yes, it's more than I'd care to spend on a vehicle, but I'd probably buy a Rivian before a Tesla.

That looks like the same image you just posted in the Rivian thread.

I really love the look of both the R1S and R1T. I see way more of the R1T's locally, but now have seen 3 unique R1S's. I'm enjoying EV life with my Model Y and still feel strongly about the supercharger network for Tesla vs any other manufacturer. But if after 1-2 years of owning the Tesla I feel like all we ever do is charge at home, I'd open up my options to things like the Lyriq and either of the Rivian options.

R1S is finally starting to get a decent ramp up. The wait for R1Ts is actually pretty reasonable now - 1-4 months from ordering. Although that is dependent on you being close enough to a service center. Lack of an SC is what's holding back a decent number of early orders from being delivered

My only concern is if Rivian will still be around in 3 years. We know Tesla will.

They've got pretty decent tech. If they were to fold, I could see a legacy automaker buying them.

Been seeing a few new accord popping recently. Such a nice car for the price. Kind of resembles A7 from behind.

Is the consensus now. that Rivian is gonna close or go under?

No. Their cash spend is concerning, but they have a lot of cash. They're in Tesla's position 10ish years ago trying to ramp up a pricey product while trying to get a more affordable product to market. R2 line is going to take some time because it's going to be built in a Georgia plant that hasn't even broken ground yet. But, they have a backlog of both the delivery vans and the R1 line that they have to get through.
