Yeah I have never used that......I think I used it once just to make sure it works? I forget it even has it to be honest but perhaps I will remember going forward, I guess I could pair it with the front windows to quickly remove hot air in summer?

Looks like the new RAM EV is going to be available with a 229kwh battery pack to get to its estimated range of 500mi. How heavy do you think it's going to be? Wowzas. 2025 Ram 1500 REV packs 650 horsepower, up to 500 miles of range - Autoblog

Geez, the Hummer EV has a 200kwh pack and weighs in at over 9K pounds. I'd assume this is going to be even more

So if the Hummer's battery weighs as much as a Civic, will the Ram's be an Accord?

I just can't get over the weight/massive resources usage to make a car like that......just insane since this will only ever be a mall crawler driven by one person.

Yep, and almost 10,000 pounds is fine as long as it's an EV.

I’m not 100% sure but I’ve heard it’s because it’s based on the Prado and the Prado has a tire mounted to the tailgate. How could you mount a tire to a lift gate? I also didn’t mind it opening to the wrong side because it was quicker for me to open since the handle was on the drivers side vs the passenger side.

I like this look and puts the spare in easy access.
It would have to be a swing out style gate tho, whatever they call that type of motion.

‘FJ Cruiser was built into the door. So is Prado. (But never knew till I just looked it)

4Runner had a lift up hatch. And tire out back.

Jill that 4Runner did not have a lift up hatch. The rear tire was on a swing-out rack, then you had to roll the rear window down (it was powered), then you dropped the tailgate down.

good call. I never knew that I was sure it was a lift up. Thank you very much for correcting me. I learned something new every day.
