^^^ Ditto

I'm just glad you didn't get another injury after what all you've already been thru.

Thank you and to others, only thing that got bruised was a little of my pride lol.

After all these spine surgeries and mental and physical challenges I've gone through over the last few years, you learn not to sweat the small stuff. I'll drop it off at the new Lexus Bodyshop I'm sure next week and that will be that, $500 big deal.

Nope, they open and shut fine absolutely zero issues. Panel gaps appear to be okay too, though I'll have them go over them.

Most importantly, drivability is fine. I wouldn't be caught dead behind the wheel though until it's fixed haha.

That is terrible, but I'm glad that you are okay. You have an awesome fleet of vehicles, and yeah you're right and the SL it probably would have done much more damage to it and seeing as how you got that not long ago, that would have been very sad.

The rear door just needs trim, it's fine. Front door outer shell needs replacement and I need a running board and that's about it, this really isn't too bad honestly.

I'm guessing $7500ish.

Oh it'll be fine, I've already uploaded everything to my insurance via phone app. Score one for technology. Deductible is nothing, $500.

THIS TIME however, I'm not taking some Corolla as a loaner since I learned they don't care who gets what. I'm demanding (nicely) an Expedition, I'll use my surgeries as an excuse to need a big high up vehicle.
Good you’re alive and not hurt. That repair will be big. You need new doors. Hopefully the rocker panel above the frame is not bent

That really sucks man, at least it's just the doors and not the actual body.

Make sure you take it somewhere that can really match the paint well. It will need to be blended into the rear door and the front fender.

Thanks, yeah the SL would have been totaled for sure, and LS.

Thanks. Yeah we're fine. Everything is so easy the insurance already has the photos. I should have their estimate Monday or Tuesday, but I can go wherever I want.

Thanks. I think it looks worse than it is, but we'll see. I see no reason for a new rear door, just trim. The front door needs a new outer shell because everything is intact, just a bad dent. I'm guessing $7500ish for the whole thing but we will see. Nothing is bent, it drives no different. This is just superficial damage.

Poor DJ, he has a pretty bad Carfax report by now. Good thing I'll never be selling him and never had plans to.

Oh yeah, going to either Mercedes or Lexus or an indy right down the street who does as good of work as anyone. They fixed my tailgate and matched the paint perfectly the last time I ran into something lol... I think I'm starting to get older, not OLD but older. To be fair my VERY objective spouse couldn't see it either once I was like "go back and pull in there and try to see it", and would have likely hit it too.

The tailgate is easier to match than the doors like that, because you never see the Tailgate right next to another panel...I'm a fan of great independent shops with great reputations over a dealership shop.
