If you look at other pics, the dash and wood trim are still decent enough. It has the original "apply brake to shift from park" sticker that you'd think in 200,000 miles, that sticker would have been peeled off. Most people peel those off the first day.

This has 200k miles on it, I'm not holding seat wear against it. Who knows how much it had its top down.

It just made my night to see one of these with 200k miles on it. I'll never, ever, ever, get even close to that.

I just rode in 2019 a base Cayenne and was blown away by the quality and fit and finish. All the surfaces were padded and lovely, and this was just the base. You can get leather even on vents in Porsches so I'd go all the way, but damn what a nice SUV that was even without all the fancy trim.

You lucky dog.

I haven't drove the Cayenne yet.
What's it got for an engine, does it have plenty of get up and go?

One more question, hows the leather?
The older Porsche's have awesome quality leather, not the paper thin stuff.

It was my friend's client's car so he didn't get on it but he said 345hp. It had an amazing pano sunroof, wow. Just a neat vehicle.

Autonakers are gradually being pushed away from natural leather because of pressure from groups such as SPCA and PETA. To some extent, I agree with them....leather, to me, is a needless waste of animal life.

Buick, for example, even stopped using leather for the steering-wheel-wrapping......the 2024 Encore GX now has fake-leatherette as the wrapping.

Yes already back from porting/polish uprated springs for more RPM etc....

Yeah it's a bit of work lol! Not as bad as it looks though, whole assembly is a giant unit so if you need to do something like this it's "easy" to drop it. You can actually do heads with engine in car but since it's a build he just decided to drop it out

Ran into a guy at the dock today that had an UZ powered ski boat, out of a ‘98 LS. I asked how many hours he had and he said he had no idea because the odometer clicked over or whatever lol, so a lot. I reminded him that the UZ is also FAA approved. Cool bunch of people. I wonder if it’s as smooth in a boat as it is in the cars.

That is pretty cool I have to admit.

No! I should have taken pics, we were chatting about it, (most) lake people are awesome. I a wanted picture of the engines.

I do wonder what that engine would be like in my boat versus what I have.

That small black circular-switch near the edge of the door looks like the switch that shuts off the interior dome light when the door is closed.

Crash reinforcement and door closure alignment aid/guide, that was common on older cars before modern manufacturing accuracy
