Engine air filter shouldn't be very hard. Cabin air filter might (?) require some more work....might want to leave that to the techs.

Ive done them before. You just drop the glove box, there are two snaps and the whole glove box falls down to the floor, and throws all your stuff on the floor lol. Engine air filter is 3 bolts and the air box is open.

My mom sold Mary Kay cosmetics on the side for many years.

She wanted the Pink Cadillac they offered as a prize.

That should take about 10 mins crazy max!
So you still have most of the day left.

All you need on your car is the special Cabin Air Filter Removal tool.

Can get it at most well stocked local auto part stores.

Yeah. Three of my cars are like that. But one has screws on the air cabin filter parts to remove

I thoroughly enjoyed this Doug review of this 2000 E55. I loved these cars, I had a buddy who’s dad had the first year (99) when we were seniors in high school, we used to cruise in our dads cars lol, he in that and me in my dads 98 LS400. He won!

Lets not talk about how young Doug is that he doesn’t know what a StarTAC phone is…

^^^ If you meant me (as I suspect), that's a typo........my call-sign is mmarshall.

And what you posted was not my car. The Encore you posted is different from the Encore GX...but I explain that more in the thread.

With Mary Kay, it wasn't always Caddies. I've seen a few Buick Regals and Pontiac Grand Prix's painted the same color, with the company logo on it.

That color, BTW, is patented by the company...no one else can legally use it. IMO it is not a true pink, but more a light pinkish-beige.

Doug is one of the better reviewers, although IMO not quite in the same league as Alex Dykes. And, as for StarTACs, at least as I see it, reviewing vehicles is not necessarily the same thing as reviewing phones.

Doug does one thing, though, that I find a little annoying...that same old "T-H-I-SSSS is the (whatever he is reviewing) " opening for all of his videos. Gets a little stale after a while.

Yes, I'll agree. Steve and I often see automotive issues different ways, but he deserves lot of credit for coming up with (and working with the moderators on setting up) this extremely popular thread. And his post-count (now over 50,000) proves he is committed to CL's forums.

doesn't fireworks freak out your dog? they're not allowed in my neighborhood (HOA rules because horses and dogs get scared).

No problem....I make typos, too. And, I agree with you...those automatic spell-redos on the Apple Macs can be annoying.

Pretty cool! Glad it’s as popular as I thought it would be!
