Even looking down at the speedometer that close takes your attention off of the road more than you think

That pic wasn't ideal from the driver's POV bc the HUD is hard to see in cameras for pics. But look how nice and high up the digital speed is in the gauge cluster, it's something you can read without diverting your eyes while driving.

You're not looking down... it's in your eyesight.

Now with that said, does it matter in a car? Probably not.

I do like that feature.
Ah, another observation. The power steering wheel is very quiet, quieter than in the Benz and significantly quieter than my LX. They did sweat the details.

TIL that radiator caps can break. Was wondering where the coolant was going ever so slowly (to the point of wondering whether I'm crazy or not) for like a year or so. No overheating or anything of the sort - I just noticed that the coolant level hit "low" - in the summer... and then had to disassemble the thermostat housing to get the plunger - use a magnet straight away >_<.

Oh for sure. I had a bad coolant reservoir cap on my S560 and couldn't figure out why the coolant was low.

No, luckily I just saw the seepage finally and replaced the cap. In my car the reservoir is hidden, so until I took the cover off myself I couldn't see the seepage. I would just get a low coolant warning and take it to the dealer and they just put coolant in it and sent me on my way

No seepage here, I guess it just... slowly boiled off (edit: away) or something?
Regardless, problem solved, one more thing to add to the "change with the oil" list... or at least every year or something.
