These young Michael-Shumacher-wannabe punks inevitably think they can evade the police.....and they often do, for a while, but, almost inevitably, fate catches up to them.
Enjoy that long prison term.
Here's another story, and photo, of the suspects.

I'm not sure what happens if you activate the car with the phone inside and then move the phone outside of the car, I can try it out. Maybe it does allow you to drive until you open the door - it could be a safety feature in the event your phone battery dies and can't be recharged that the car wouldn't stop driving. I'll try it and report back.

Just got done lowering a 19 Tiguan, not really my type of car but I have to admit with the drop and spacers it looks good. Way better than stock and since it's not a real SUV anyway the lower stance is a great vibe

It looks like it has a blown air suspension. I don’t particularly like crossovers as I prefer SUVs….but I do think they look good stock. IMO of course.

To lower a crossover or SUV, though, more or less defeats the whole purpose of it. The whole concept of crossovers, particularly with AWD, is to give you added ground-clearance over the typical sedan or coupe, without the stiff road-manners of most body-on-frame trucks.

Went from about 6.5 inches to about 4 inches clearance overall, worse than my air cars by over 2 inches for clearance. That's why I call it pointless since it doesn't actually give any more ground clearance
I still think it looks better if not outright cool. Like a large wagon now
Did a belt on this car after replacing the trans, owner for some reason thought that the car has a 100k belt interval. I'm glad I checked it....
Idler was seized solid and the belt was simply dragging over it. Not bad for 187k miles but this is why the dealership sucks, they don't replace anything other than the belt in many cases.
Old
All replaced now, wear wasn't too bad but the trans was having a first gear bearing noise so needed to be replaced. Almost make it to 200k though so not bad considering zero service

So you'll get a giggle out of this, my business partner's new Silverado ZR2 got rear ended a month or so ago, it went in the shop today. Enterprise gave him a Chevy Spark with 60,000 miles on it lol. Little bit of a difference...
