I really didn't think you'd end up with another S-class this time because you've talked about so many other options, but I'm glad you are!

At this point I’d just wait a year if possible. This time next year the W223 facelift model will be arriving which either means changes you’re going to want or great deals on the existing model.

I think all in all it’s still the best overall option. The i7 brings with it the EV factor which at this point is still limiting with travel, and the EV powertrain is what I like most about the 7, a 760 doesn’t appeal to me. Range Rover I haven’t driven yet but still will, but I do still want a sedan.

Issue there is my car. I’m going to be out of warranty here shortly and that opens me up to big repair bills or a big cost of a warranty, it also means I will have to trade out of my car or pay the mileage penalties and turn it in. The structure of the lease for it is for me to trade out of it at 36 months.

Waiting a year could cost me several thousand dollars in dealing with the car I have. Otherwise I would ride it out and wait for the refresh.

I have to get a quote for an MB warranty and see if they offer a pro rated refund. They might.

I like it but it has been well surpassed by virtually everything in all but off road capabilities, including the Denali which is $30,000 cheaper.

The competition has just gotten so good, same thing why the LS is a mess. It wasn’t such a runaway in the past.

I have warmed up to the LX600 The smaller size is attractive to me IMO. Too bad there is no V8

The rear is its worst angle for sure. Doesn’t look premium at all.

Agree. It looks pretty pitiful from behind. They couldn't have done anything to make that exhaust look better? Not even a chrome ring like on the outgoing GX? That rear end does not look really expensive or distinctive.

From the sides and front it looks considerably better. It just needs to be larger and have a V8.

I much prefer the muted look of the exhaust.

It’s also the plastic cladding and just the overall shape of the rear. That plastic trim should be glossy black if it’s not going to be body colored.

Understood about the lease issues, but I think you’re being a bit too conservative with the repair risk. And even then, the cheaper than MB but more comprehensive Fidelity warranty would mitigate the risk to a high degree.

It looks GREAT from the front and side. It's crazy because it's just as if out of nowhere, these have appeared on my streets.

I agree, I think its good looking everywhere but the rear. Here is a GLS for comparison, looks much more premium from the rear,

Oh that's quite nice. I would be extra impressed if the surround was real metal, or not plastic. But that looks wayyyyyyyy better.

LX600’s are very popular. Long wait list.

Personally I love the new LX's styling. It's other areas of the package that are a bit lacking.
